I charge a $100 non-refundable consultation/design fee for all custom orders, which will be applied toward the final purchase. This initial phase includes a consultation meeting and 1-2 rounds of design ideas/mock-ups. At the end of this phase, I will collect a 50% payment based on the estimate provided for the final piece of jewelry. With this payment, the client agrees to let me begin production of the custom piece.
The remaining balance will be charged upon completion of the piece and approval from the client. Written approval will be required. Jewelry will be shipped after receiving the final balance.
You are ordering a custom piece which takes time from design to delivery of your finished piece. Custom orders will normally take 6-8 weeks for delivery. If you need it sooner than the normal delivery, please let me know up front so the schedule can be adjusted.
For an order cancellation after production begins, the client agrees that they are responsible for any non-recoverable costs for the piece. The $100 design fee and deposit will not be returned.
Custom-designed pieces are non-returnable.
At the discretion of Candace Stribling Jewelry, a custom-made piece will be repaired or replaced if any manufacturer defects are found in the first 12 months from the date of the purchase. Normal wear and tear and customer abuse is not covered under warranty.
